Is simply hanging a photo on the wall becoming… passé?
It struck me that even talented photographers might be missing out on the mind-blowing possibilities. With the digital tools we now have, photography can do so much more than sit behind glass in a frame. We’re living in a golden era of creative possibilities — where your favorite image can completely redefine the character of a space.
I see interior design more from the perspective of interpersonal relationships between the architect/ interior designer and the client. Since we are talking about the usage of the space and not only the look, we are talking about establishing an intimate relationship between interior architect and client.
This time I would like to write a slightly different article and share a bit about me and a bit about what I love about design and architecture here in the Netherlands.
One needs to use a good measure of creativity to furnish a small space in a way that will be functional, ergonomic, comfortable and aesthetic.
The size does not matter – the right choices do.
Here are some tips that may help you to deal with your tiny space.
In the various calendars you can find a wide variety of special holidays including the Dutch Sinterklaas, or St. Nicholas as it is called in Western countries, the jewish Hanukkah, Solstice on December 21 which marks the shortest day of the year, the Christian Christmas, the Hindu holiday Diwali, the African Kwanzaa and of course the New Year eve on December 30.
Designing small kitchens is perceived as a great design challenge, but it is important to know that even with a limited budget and building restrictions it is possible if cleverly designed to have an amazing kitchen: functional, and efficient.
